London Trip
On Monday I visited London with my Fashion and Textiles group to get my fabrics in Shepperd's Bush and then to look around town where Liberty is. I managed to find my white fabrics I needed so hopefully now I can print and construct my garments.
I took some photos of Liberty from the outside as I love the building and think it looks amazing.

Finished creating my 3 outfits patterns so now I'm going to create 2 of them for my toiles to see how they look. The reason I won't be doing 3 toiles is because I haven't enough time so that's why I'm doing 2 :)
The plan for next week is to go London on Monday to get my white fabrics and for Tuesday to print on the sections so then I can sew up my outfits.

Today I managed to laser cut one of my stencil designs and screen print on different fabrics using the Puff Binder again. I think my samples turned out well and I'll continue cutting my stencils out and experimenting on different fabrics. I also want to try cutting my stencil designs on White Flock and see how that works.

Been working on my Blank Space project by continuing with experimenting with screen printing using Puff Binder. In my graphics lesson today I created print designs (stencils) by using my research/development sheets, so tomorrow I'll be able to get my stencils cut out on the laser cutter and begin printing. I also want to experiment using White Flock too.
Today I also started designing and by adding fabric swatches and going into garment details.

Screen Printing using Puff Binder
Today I did some more experimenting doing white on white for my Blank Space project. I've done screen printing before in the past but today was my first time using Puff Binder. After I screen printed and waited for the print to dry I turned the print face down and using an iron that steams I hovered it slightly above the fabric. After doing this a few times the binder puffed outwards giving a surface texture.
At the moment I think Puff Binder works well on cottons but I need to experiment on more fabrics to see how well it works. It's a great technique to use if you want to print and to get different surfaces and textures.
